Weddings 2019

We congratulate Trish McSweeney and Keith Manning who celebrated the sacrament of marriage in St Michael’s Church, Kildysart on 18 May, 2019.

Rest in Peace – 2019

We pray for Jack (John) Ringrose of Corofin (former manager AIB Kildysart) who died  on 14 May 2019.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest and console by his wife Noreen, his children Kevin, Colm, Meadhbh, Brendan and Orlaith, sons-in-law Brian and Paddy, daughter-in-law Sherry, grandchildren Liadan, Finn, Dara, Aoife, Clara and Alex, brother and sisters, nephews, nieces, family, friends and neighbours

Jack will repose in St. Brigid’s Church, Corofin on Friday 17 May from 5.00 pm with prayers at 7.00 pm. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday  18 May at 10 am followed by burial in Laghtagoona Cemetery.

Brendan Burke, RIP

We pray for Brendan Burke (formerly An Garda Siochana, Kildysart)Barefield who died on  April 10th 2019.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest and console his wife Bridie (née Comer) and family Aoife, Deirdre and Niall, grandchildren Kyle and Mia, son-in-law Paul, brothers Martin and Michael, sisters Mary and Veronica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Pray for Mary Bent, Lacknashannagh who died on 9 February 2019 in her ninety-ninth year.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest and console her daughter Marian, son in law Andy, sister Eileen, her grandchildren Laura & Simon & all who loved her.

Mary will repose in Kildysart Church from  5pm to 7pm on Sunday. Her Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11am followed by burial in Kildysart cemetery.

Mary’s months mind Mass will be celebrated in St Michael’s Church, Kildysart on Sunday, 10 March at 10.30am.

We pray for PJ Finn, Lacknashannagh who died on 8 January, 2019.

May the Lord grant PJ eternal rest and console his wife Jolie, his family Noelle, Robert and Tina, his brothers

PJ Finn, RIP

Gerry, Mikey and Tom, sister Mary (Madden), grandchildren Cian, Katie, Emma and Killian, son-in-law Derek, daughter-in-law Louise, aunts Kathleen and Eileen, beloved friend Pake, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and all who formed his circle of love and care.

PJ will Repose at St  Michael’s Church, Kildysart on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock with prayers for the dead  at 8 o’clock.

His funeral  Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 12 noon followed by interment in local cemetery.

PJ’s months mind Mass will be celebrated in St Michael’s Church, Kildysart on Friday, 8 February at 8pm.

Confirmation 2019

We congratulate the young people from our parish who received the Holy Spirit in Confirmation on Saturday, 10 May 2019. May the Spirit always dwell in their hearts, homes, parents and families.

We thank Bishop Fintan for leading the liturgy & Ms. Lynch for working with the families and parish to help the young people prepare for this important day.

Pastoral Council Meeting
