Radharc na nOiléan
A cluster is a group of neighbouring parishes who work more closely together to ensure that the people of a particular area have access to the pastoral care that they need. Killaloe Diocese is divided into twelve clusters. For a map of the clusters click here Killaloe Cluster Map
Initially our clusters began with increased co-operation of the clergy but it has developed in recent years to include greater collaboration between Parish Pastoral Councils.
Kildysart together with Coolmeen-Cranny and Ballynacally-Lissycasey parishes, form the Radharc na nOiléan cluster. Between March and May 2012 all three parishes joined with the remainder of the diocese in engaging in a discussion process which culminated in a report on the cluster conversations .
The text of the reports from the cluster meetings and from the theological reflection group are available here.
This process led to the production of our diocesan plan entitled Builders of Hope – Pastoral Plan Diocese of Killaloe 2013-2020. This plan will guide the work of our diocese and our parishes during the next seven years. The title is taken from the words of Pope Francis ‘Don’t be scared. Dare to have fabulous plans. I encourage you to not be afraid to dream, to have great ideals, to be builders of hope.’
